My Socks Are Wet

We spent the morning looking for open travel agents and then visiting the Port of Tunis to inquire about ferry routes to Italy and beyond.  We walked through rain that varied from sprinkles to driving buckets only to find most offices closed. Not to be denied we did meet a man who provided us with valuable information; even though it was far from official.  Our possibilities for onward travel appear limited to a Libyan miracle or a flight we cannot afford.  We are all super wet and tired, so we spent a cold, wet, gray afternoon making tea at the hotel and doing research for our next couple days in Tunisia. We have had awesome times of interaction recently, and our productivity level seems to be rising instead of falling.  I heard from our Algerian friends today.  They made it back to Algiers safely, and are looking forward to seeing us again soon.
